Sathya Sai Ladies’ Meet: A Session of Spiritual Connection and Upliftment
On December 9th, 2023, 24 devoted Sai sisters gathered at the Sathya Sai Centre on Moulmein Road for an afternoon of fellowship, spiritual exploration, and mutual support. The Ladies’ Meet, held from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM, provided a sacred and safe space for sisters to share and embark on a journey of collective growth and upliftment.
The session commenced with a heartfelt prayer and melodious bhajans. Sister Girija, the Coordinator of the Ladies’ Wing, welcomed the participants and outlined the objectives and goals of this dedicated group. Aunty Rema, the former Coordinator, then led the sisters in an invigorating session of pranayama exercises, focusing on breath control and inner peace.
Following this, the ladies engaged in an icebreaker activity, fostering a sense of connection and camaraderie. This warm-up paved the way for a deeply personal segment, where each sister shared their unique experiences with Swami. Their heartfelt testimonies resonated throughout the room.
Inspired by the spirit of collaboration, the sisters then embarked on a brainstorming session, actively proposing ideas and projects for 2024. This collective effort reflected their commitment to serving the community and furthering the teachings of Sathya Sai Baba.
As the afternoon drew to a close, the session culminated in mangala arathi, followed by light refreshments. The chai time provided an opportunity for the sisters to connect and savour the spirit of sisterhood.
As we look forward to the next Ladies’ Meet on January 20th, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM, we are reminded of the transformative power of collective devotion.
