Old Laptops Needed
Sairam!
We have been making efforts to bridge the digital divide and empower women through Free IT classes in our Help the Helpers Programme. This is in addition to the English classes. We use old, donated laptops to teach IT skills to domestic helpers. Between English & IT classes, over 1600 students have benefited so far.
Many of the old laptops we have been using have aged out, and are no longer operational. Hence, we now have a critical need for additional laptops.
If you or your friends have old laptops in working condition that you no longer need, please drop them off at the Sai Centre any day between 9 AM and 12 noon.
Your help would significantly impact the lives of these students, allowing them to develop important digital skills, and unlock a world of educational resources.
We will restore the laptops and put them to good use for a student who genuinely needs it.
